Hi folks,
I just joined and live in Sydney. I have an FD RX7 with a bridgeport single turbo setup, and an RX8 for a daily driver.

I'm obsessed with all things rotary as you guys are too.

Hi Matt

Welcome to the forum!

Any plans for either car or just happy to enjoy them? Would be great to see pics of your rides. Feel free to start a thread in the members rides' section.

Hi,
The RX7 is only a few thousand km's out of the rebuild I had done at JC Racing. It was stock but I got it bridgeported and did a single turbo conversion. In a few weeks its going into Vis Rotary to be converted to e85. I have orded an Endless big brake kit for it from Japan that I'm waiting to arrive. Then roll cage before I kill myself. Then later this year I hope to get the wide body Rocket Body kit done at a place in Sydney I came across called BYB (Build Your Bunny). After that ill tidy up the interior.

The RX8 I picked up a few months ago with a blown engine and just got it back a few days ago after getting the engine rebuilt at Vis Rotary. It's my daily driver and second RX8. I paid $63k for my first RX8 in 2006 and got this one back on the road for $10k haha. It's not fast but it's a rotary and a comfortable daily driver. It has no significant modifications. The previous owner had already put a lightened flywheel and upgraded the clutch (quite tricky from a standing start actually) and I just added some headers while the engine was out. I have no plans really for that car as I'm yet to see any upgrades to the Renesis engine that give a decent power gain and also remain reliable for any period of time.

How about your car/cars?

I just looked at your ride. Awesome. I love that model of RX7. That is an extensive list of changes! Looks great.
