Hello All,

After enjoying an Rx4 in my late teens and early 20's, now 20 years on have recently purchased another RX4..
It is currently getting some work done to get it road worthy and blue slipped..
Then i will enjoy improving and modifying it for years to come..
My 5 year old son thinks the car is for him..
I'm looking for advice on where to get good parts, engine body and interior..
Also which car club to join??
My line of work unfortunately doesn't give me much free time at night or weekends but would still like to attend some events in the future..
I also wish to look into Historic or modified rego, can anyone help me with that??

Thank you in advance and i look forward to having a read through the forum.

Shad

Hi Shad and welcome to the forum 8)

What state are you in, as that will help inform what car clubs might be suitable?

I'd love to see some photos of the car...what series? Coupe or sedan?

For parts, these cars are getting on, so you really need to keep you eyes open everywhere: here, eBay, Gumtree, Facebook.

If you want a good starting point, check out the RX4 model reference thread here: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=205177

Thank you for your reply..

I am in the north west of Sydney NSW..

I will definitely upload some pics once she's ready..

Its a 9/75 sedan in black.

A bit rough at the moment, needs a lot of work but has some ok gear in it..

We believe it is a peripheral port 13 carby, with a BT40/50 5 Speed gear box and hilux diff..

Just had a bit of money spent on the front end with all new coil over suspension and brakes..

Will see soon how is goes!!

Want to get involved in a club asap before i get it registered..
