The "Spotted" thread is here to give everybody a chance to share their excitement when they spot an especially nice car driving around. Spotted a beautifully kitted FD? An immaculate old school rotor? Or maybe even got caught up in a swarm of Ferraris on a supercar drive day? Let us hear about it (but keep it within this thread only).

However it is vitally important to protect the privacy of car owners. Thieves may potentially browse these forums and you must not provide information that may help to locate a car. To that end, please abide by the following rules when posting.

Sightings in general suburban/residential areas.
Don't be an idiot and list the home address of a car!
If you must list a location, be no more specific than the suburb. Consider whether only listing the general area (eg. western suburbs) will be sufficient.
If you list a specific street or in some other way supply specific information (eg. just down the road from Glen Waverlay maccas) then you will be harshly dealt with.

Sightings in enthusiast/tourist/thoroughfare areas
It is ok to list a street if it is a non-residential, known enthusiast strip (such as Chapel St in Melbourne), a major tourist location, or a thoroughfare such as a freeway or highway. But if in doubt, leave the specifics out.

Regular sightings anywhere.
If you regularly see a car in any given location (even on Chapel St) - do not give any location details at all. Not even the suburb. Again, breaches of this rule will be dealt with harshly.

Number Plates
It is forbidden to list the number plates of a spotted car unless it carries personalised/custom plates. It is forbidden to list even custom plates if you are also associating the car with activities that might concern the EPA or police. ie. We don't want any posts about how you spotted a sweet FC with the plates DIKHED that was shooting flames and drag racing you at the lights.

We request all users to help with the enforcement of these rules. If you see an unsuitable post then please contact a moderator immediately.

SPOTTED
A sky blue RX2 on 17 in FRs. Down at Liverpool, on Sunday arvo.
Pretty clean. Had a bridgey and Weber combo. Nice work keeping it old school.

Oh and add to this
Also saw a Silver S4t, sound like a mild port, in Mt Pritchard, nice street package.

A bit of a long shot as there may be many First Gens out like the one I have recently spotted in South Melbourne.

It's a GEN-1 RX-7
Maroon in colour (METALIC MAROON looks aftermarket)
Sitting on what I presume are Simmon's FR's
Time's like this I wish I had a camera on my phone.
SelectMaz red sticker on the back hatch.
Has to be one of the cleanest RX-7 first gen's I have seen in my life.
Drool factor plus plus.
Yes I know the number plate and for the record it is not personalized.
Just curious if anyone knows this vechile or if the owner comes on Ausrotary? Time for you guys all to play Detective now and give me some good news....
