Ya should not play around with the timeing if ya dont know what ya doing mate you could cause costly engine damage.

Also how ya can fix ya problem is pull out dizzy and move it to centre and slot it back in so ya got adjustment but leave this to a expert to do.

Dont go boosting this motor with out the timeing set.

put it back where it was

the CAS position is calibrated with the ecu.. it doesnt always end up in the middle.. depends on the CAS drop itself.. and if the ecu has adjustable home and trigger settings

even the microtech has a timing trim function .. and numbers in the setting here can influence the final CAS position

since im not going to spell it out again for the 1000 th time already
then you will need to use the search function and read up on how to set the timing lock . how to use a timing light.. how to disable the fuel pump
.. and retime /calibrate the ecu for yourself ( and also calibrate the TPS while your there )
( with handset or PC )

these are fundamentals that any microtech .. or any other aftermarket ecu user should learn for themselves
they are essential functions that require calibration everytime you set the engine up .. get them wrong and at best it runs like a dog
get them badly wrong,, and it will cost an engine

once you have worked out timing and TPS calibration .. THEN you should learn a bit about the ignition curve.. what the numbers mean and what is the wrong thing to do
BEFORE you start playing with any values///

granted.. a handy self tuner can improve most out of the shop maps .. which are often a bit rough in the part load numbers
but a an inexperienced one can also easily cost and engine,, and you should arm yourself for a steep learning curve before you dabble
