It is time for another Tampered Motorsport track day, at Winton Motor Raceway. The last one was etremely popular and had an awesome mixture of cars.

Entry Fee: $150 which includes Timing costs.

Spectators are more than welcome, and there is no cost to come and watch. Also you can go for a ride in the cars but you must sign on with a Passenger indemnity first. Due to the amount of passengers at previous events our insurer has put a small levy on passengers of $10. You can just pay this when you sign the forms at the Scruitineering office.

The day will kick off when scruitineering starts at 7:30am. You will need to do your paper work at the scruitineering office before you have your car checked. Please make sure you have removed all loose items from inside the car.

At this stage the day will be limited to 60 places, with 5 groups of 12 cars and entries are accepted in order of receipt.

YOU WILL NEED:
Long sleeve and long pants of non flammable materials i.e. No Nylon
AASA license which can be bought on the day for $50 (these last for 12 months) or CAMS L2S
Closed footwear
Helmet that complies to Australian Standards (has ASA or Snell Sticker)
Car needs to be in a good condition, no oil leaks, no loose items in the car and battery secure.
Good condition tyres
Working seatbelt (give it a pull and make sure it locks)

how many cars on average do you get at these events?

50-60, they are usually well controlled with cars similar skill level and pace out at the same time.

Last time, I got about 6 sessions of 8 laps I think. Plenty of track time.

i have been on this site for a while but havnt posted much, dont have a rotor as yet but is this track day open to all cars?
i have a mitsubishi legnum VR4..
im going to winton on the 30th of aug so ill see how i go then.lol

No extiguisher required as we have fire crews and safety vehicles, but it is advised to have one.

well on the 30th look out for the silver mitsubishi legnum VR4.. i hope to do a sub 1:55min, my mate is in his black 05 forester XT and i just wanna beat him.lol (i know i will.lol)

well i dont think i have the funds for this one, just got back from winton on saturday nite and it cost me a bundle.lol
good news was that i ran a 1.46.630 on the full track.. im real happy with the way the car handled it and im stoked bout my time...
next time im going semi slicks and more handling parts
