Anyone else running in the PI 6 hour? (August)
I'm entered with Tampered Motorsport. Will be running the fc. Hope to see a few others out there.

May not be entered. Something to do with entry acceptance- multiple teams.... Shall wait and see what my mate figures out.

on semi slicks and back?
Then there's always the chance that something will break.
Believe me Rick I want to but if something lets go I don't want to end up stranded in P.I.

You'll never go anywhere if you are too worried about things breaking! Though I know nothing about your car, so maybe it has some weak links.
There are no issues driving it on semi's as long as they are above the wear indicators (ie legal). And it isn't teeming down with rain and has been for hours.
Have you considered RACV Total Care? They have towed me back from Winton before - just get your car onto the road "where you broke down". Although I have heard stories of them towing people from the pit carpark! Haven't seen it though.

Worst case, I'd run mine home and come back with an empty trailer.
