John Richards, who is well known on Skylines Australia, poses a huge threat for taking out the number one position on the Winton Raceway leaderboard. With 2 years track experience John ran a new PB of 1.24.09 at the Maserati Club Annual spring track day at Sandown. It was John's first time out on the ADVAN AD08 tyres and he was literally laughing in disbelief at how much grip the AD08 tyre provided. Victorian Neova Cup competitors can take little solace in the fact than Sandown is not a registered Neova Cup track.

John's run at Sandown does not qualify for the Neova Cup however Skylines Australia Nationals are at the end of this month and one of the events include a time attack at Winton Raceway. With his new ADVAN AD08 tyres we are expecting John to be high up the Victorian Leader board.

Quick Review of the Yokohama AD08

Amazed. One word.

I could not believe the grip that was available from the get go in that first session. I was basically giggling in the helmet after two laps.

The mid corner and exit grip is astonishing, it really is. There is defiantly a 1.23 lap in there once I get use to this tyre.
