Once again making the long trip across from Adelaide is the “Worlds fastest Chiropractor” Brad Trenwith in his stealth black Hankook-backed Mazda RX7.

After finishing seventh in Open Class at WTAC 2011 despite mechanical dramas, and now with another year of development behind him and the support of the highly experienced Morpowa team Brad will be one of the hot favourites for the Open Class honours.



The car is still sporting the REVS built bridgeport engine with a Garrett GT40 turbocharger and making “more power than ever”.

A Haltech PS1000 ECU controls the air, fuel and lights the fire with a Racepak Dash enabling the team to log every lap and analyse the data. Other changes for this year include a “Burnout” front bar with a Custom splitter and rear wing designed by aero ace Andrew Brilliant to provide maximum downforce. An Albins strightcut dog box feeds to a Kaaz 1.5 way diff and the widebody kit is from Bodyform.



Making it stop and turn is a set of mega dollar Swedish Ohlins coilovers, a pair of CSC brakes on the front and AP Racing on the rear. The whole lot sits on a set of Enkei NT03 wheels and naturally the tyres are Hankook Ventus Z221 with Brad actually involved in much of the feedback to Hankook Australia.



It would appear that Brad has been giving them all the right feedback in the past 12 months winning 2 rounds of the RENEW championship and round 3 of the All Japan Battle at Eastern Creek. He was also 2nd outright at the Mt Alma Mile on road legal tyres and 2nd outright in Pro Class in the South Australian Time Attack Championships.
