Talk about reviving a thread from the dead.

I ended up taking the car there and the end result is stunning. Add to that the guys have continued to be helpful after the job was completed which is a rare thing these days. The only downside was cost - The charge out rate is $80 an hour and that sure adds up in a hurry so much so that a full on paintjob could cost you more than driving a brand new car off a dealers yard.

But if you are looking for a fantastic job and have the cash to fund it then I would highly recommend these guys.

I work with a few guys who build Hot Rods and they say his work is alright, there is better around. I dont know why but it sounds like his quality may have slipped a little

The costs snowballed to almost twice the initial quote, but I suppose $25k would be considered a decent price for a body restoration. Great speed once the payments had gone through, from it taking months, I got really rushed to pick it up after he’d finished it ‘as best as he could’. I think the pics speak for themselves. I’ve since taken the matter to court, we settled and the car is now at another shop having the work redone.
