I need a new diff, i had a KAAZ in mind, but don't know where to buy one from (locally)?

Is the KAAZ a good choice?
Is it gonna make the car an annoying, clunking shit to drive?

Anyone have any other recommendations, other than a new Mazda LSD?

Also, where's the best place to buy one?

I'll post up about the driving difference & how clunky it is in a few weeks.

Got a phone call yesterday morning, my Diff has arrived in Melbourne & they were forwarding it to my mechanic.

Picked the car up today... FUCK ME.

The SLIGHTEST movement of the steering wheel & the car started banging, vibrating & moaning.

Took it to the closest industrial hour & commenced running it in, which if you don't know means driving in tight figure eights for 45 mins.

I had time to do 30 mins worth.
At the start, it was so bad, moaning, groaning, vibrating, banging, it was fucked.
After 30 mins though, it was nearly dead quiet.
While turning, if you start to accelerate, at the slightest, it starts to shudder then straight away locks up & starts chirping the inside wheel like a locker.

There's a loud clanging noise when I push the clutch in & out, especially of stopped & you just pop it out & back in, sounds kinda like there's heaps of free play in the diff or tail shaft & that's what's making the noise.... Anyone have any clue if this is normal or not??

I put one in a mates fd. Horrible to drive, the option of a full spool is way better.

It doesn't get any better with time either.

Just be careful on high speed corners when you back off it really turns in very quick.
