Would you prefer an "end of month" or "end of quarter" meet?
Yes, monthly sounds like a good idea 78%  78%  [ 14 ]
No, do it quarterly as monthly is too often 22%  22%  [ 4 ]

Hi All,

I was wondering how much interest there would be in getting a more regular meet up happening?

This would be more of a get together to look at each others cars, talk tech, get advice from others etc.

We could occasionally go on a small cruise depending on numbers and interest, but the main purpose would be to get out and chat with like minded enthusiasts.

Ideally it would be either monthly or quarterly and would be somewhere like the multi level carpark at Docklands which has good lighting and is central to all both the eastside and westside.

Anyway, give me some thoughts and expressions of interest and I will see if I can get the ball rolling.

Yer but it's on Thursday nights, not good for people who are busy during the week especially if you go to bed early for work the next day.

Something rotary specific would be better, there is not enough happening in the melb rotary scene at the moment.

Agreed.

It does not look like the Mazda Car Club pulls big numbers (not that we do either) but at least if we did an Ausrotary centric meet it would be all rotary.

It may be a good idea to join up with the MCCA but we will wait and see what interest is generated.

Ok, maybe it is worth Ausrotary members to join in on a few MCCA meets which would be a good way to get an Idea of commitment from the AR members to get something like this going.

What cars were at the last meet?
When is the next one?

I just had a quick look at the calendar on the MCCA website and its showing you guys are having a meet/cruise on Tuesday the 17th of May.

Is that correct?

If so I will come along and say hello.

Where do you normally cruise?

Is this Tuesday the 17th still a goer for the MCCA?

If so, is it OK for some Ausrotary members to come along?

Hey All,

Who is coming along tonight to catch up with the MCCA team?

I will be there in the RX3, so I see who ever comes then.
