Don't be such a retard Jason, I already explained why I didn't attend. In addition to the fact I'm not that interested in cruising, I prefer racing. But when I do attend Ausrotary cruises, I prefer them to be with rotaries.

I got some nice pictures from the Ausrotary Bonanza though.

lol your the retard if u think the only reason why i joined ausrotary was to look and talk about fords .
i have no need to prove how interested iam into rotarys[ go back through some of my old posts and threads to see how uninterested i was ] - all the old members know what fun we used to get up to on cruises ,but keep up the good work lol

was very dissapointed in the turn out,

i spent weeks even months of extremely long nights and early mornings trying to get my car ready for this cruise expecting it to be great turn out with a lot of rotors and old mazdas.

unfortunately i didnt get my car done in time,
i still showed up even if it was in my daily, which i parked away from all* the rotors

*All being the three that were there when i arrived at 9:20 or there abouts

im not here to kick shit or anything but if this is the kind of turnout you get on these cruises it begs the question of why there is no young people interested in the scene and why none of them organise cruises. theyve all bought hondas, fords or commonwhores because theres more people willing to get off their ass and go for a drive

i still dont get why you guys are bitching about about taking your regular cars on the cruise and not expecting to get segregated from the roataries. maybe if it was just a general car club accommodating for the likes of any modified car but it wasnt.
how would you like it if you owned a lambo and were partaking in a cruise and some dickhead wanted to tag along in their beemer but didnt want to go at the back they wanted to be in the middle. youd probs want to kick his head in for even asking.

end rant,

it would have being nice if there was a bigger turnout but hey what can you do,

Ben you're being an arse, just chill. It was a shit turnout as has been for several years now on Ausrotary cruises.

BTW, how about we seperate the cars with fastest in the twisties to the front and slowest to the back...Jase can lead the pack and I'll follow him. \:D/

Max, the only arse around here is you (refer to avatar). If anyone needs to chill, its you and Jason. All I have done is defend myself against your personal attacks, the thread would have continued chilled if it wasn't for you needing to relax. You attack me, then when I try to reason with you, you tell me to chill? Are you alright in the head or what?

This thread or forum isn't a pissing contest and these cruises aren't a race, nobody here gives a fuck how quick or slow your heap of shit ford is.

Man those two Fords at the bottom are beautiful, proof of how well Australia can design a sexy car! :bounce2:

I'm going to go out on a limb here and try not to bitch too much (I do enough of that on Ozdat where people also like to talk up how awesome their cars are yet never drive them) but for whoever it was that said young people are too lazy to organise cruises, this could be because most of them can't afford them! I've had my RX-7 since I was 18 (after my Datsun broke down and I went for a ride in a friend's RX-7 and fell in love) but I've only been on this forum for a few months, yet since I daily one and have another one as a project I would like to think I was pretty damn keen on them. I was lucky I got one at a good price though. I love cruising with other rotors and have been on every cruise I've known about so far so some of us are still dedicated. We've had some excellent cruises in the past so I see no reason why there can't be any more.

Good to hear! Well I think we should try to run this cruise again, and if it goes well we can organise it for early December next year. I propose we have it in the next month or so, would people be keen for the first Sunday in January, 8/1/2012? Those of you will families will be ready to have a break from them by then, and those who don't (like me) will be happy to cruise then. What are people's thoughts? I'm always up for a cruise.

I totally agree, hoon laws these days are just too harsh & for a loud 13B BP like mine it's hard to go for a cruise without getting picked on by the cops :shoot:
I even got a defect on my daily 2004 hilux friday night minding my own business on my way out to go fishing for being a little low & not having the correct load rated tyres plus too dark window tint, it's getting stupid

I'm also selling the rx3 & joining the FGT6 club to try & stay under the radar because I can't be bothered with all this defect crap any more

yeah as soon as the hoon laws got tighter i knew it was time to strip and sell the 7 . i was lucky enough to only get one defect in its time , but it was a pain in the arse to get it removed.
i know a guy who spent a heap of $$$$ doing his rx7 up , but now his too scared to drive it because the last time he drove it he got a defect sticker on it . he went throuht all the truoble and got it removed only for the car to sit in his garage .

There's a ford cruise on every day, twice a day on every major arterial.

Green200b; I'll be up for a cruise in Jan, hopefully will have some long awaited new upgrades to my sev by then.
You gonna start a new thread for this one?
