Hey guys,
So my boyfriend recently bought a mazda rotary 1979 model.
Unfortunately the fan belt was broken...
Im not sure if this is relevant, but the number that was imprinted on the belt was - 300L150HSN, it was quite a thick belt..
Does anybody know where i can get one??
please help me.

Thank you!

if its the fan belt,, ( goes around water pump and alternator ) then it can be 11a 785 or 11a800 , depending on the water pump pulley and the alt pulley
most will use 11a 800,, but if thats at end of adjustment then you need 11a 785

do not drive the car without a belt,, you will have no water pump working and it WILL cook the engine

its also very prudent that you grab a 10a 550 belt,, this is fitted on the spare pulley V for main pulley and water pump only ( no tensioner )
you pull this on like a bike chain, by rotating the pulley till it pulls on,, and you may have to go back then a half turn to turn the belt from inside out

if you ever brake another fan belt,, this 10a 550 will continue to drive the water pump,, saving the engine
the 10a 550 belt is also necessary if you have deleted the air pump ( its likely already gone ) ,, and prevents the 11a800 from squeeling and wearing quickly

ignore him, hes just trying to confuse you.
you can buy new belts from auto parts shops like repco etc. or failing that, mazda
take the old one with you if you not sure

go get 11a 800,, most of the time this will work,, also order a 10a 550 ( sigma, mini and hoover washing machines )
the 10a 550 may need to be ordered as is smaller than most other belts ( dont get 11a )
fit the 11a 800,, then on the unused spare pulley vs,, wind on the 10a belt as much as it will go,, then JOG ( or wind over by hand ) the engine momentarily ,, it will pull on
if it turns inside out,, wind the engine backwards half turn by hand till it spins right way up
