self storage place costs are a killer if its long term.
look around the area for blocks of units with lock up garages and drop leaflets in the letter boxes asking if anyone has an empty garage they are willing to rent you..
if you are lucky you will get an old lady or someone who doesnt have a car
thats how i got my last one $30 a week

Guy I know has a car storage facility in Moorabbin. 80 per week short term, better rate long term. Seen over 100/w at some of the flashier joints.

I'd do this. I have done in the past, the only problem is if you get a renter that's happy to do it, you could be left without a garage when they decide to move out, which happened to me. Luckily a lady in my parents block has a spare spot in her double and allows me to use that spot for nothing, but I'll be in the same predicament again soon as they are moving.

You could chuck it in a container for probably $250/month max.

Depends how often you want to get at it though, I wouldn't recommend it unless you are wanting long term storage and don't need to get to it.

Just make sure you get both keys/remotes.....it's the same as renting a house, the landlord can't come and go as they please, so just make sure you make that part of the agreement.

It's private, a collector has it and rents space to cover costs, not like a Kennards. I can pm his number if you're interested.
