Hmm yes I got a bit crossed up wide on the kerb coming onto the straight and ended up on the grass and then in the tyre wall. Fortunately the tyres were quite soft but there are now some tyre shaped dints in the doors and guards on the drivers side. No major damage but some new panels and paint required unfortunately so a trip to Mazbitz will be in order soon.

Booked up to do the Sandown 6hr reg relay in Feb run by the Porsche club. Its being run with a 75 db noise limit which is a bit of a concern. How often do events run there with that limit? A bit concerned as the fc has two cannon mufflers and a screamer. Not loud by track car standards but 75 is a long way down on the usual 95

It's 75 @ 30 metres though. If you can modify the exhaust to point into the infield, you'll be fine. Club tester will sit on the straight in the concrete patch, council may show up on the back straight for a while. I've never been hassled with the BP, webber, straight through coffee urn muffler though I made the rear removable add on just to be safe. Never needed it.

The extra muffler comes off easy, and a directional tip goes on.

I would love a ride! And I would love to flog the piss out of my rx7 too  I'm otherwise engaged I'm afraid  Capella has the gearbox out at the minute, I'm giving it a birthday. Now if only USPS would hurry the bloody hell up.
