Based on scrap metal prices of around $170 a tonne probably not worth much at all.
Sounds like a one off payment personalised plate rather than a custom plate and not
what i would have thought to be a sought after plate.
Best to hang them up in your shed if you dont want to display them.

put it this way, i recently bought what i think is a much more desirable plate that had never been on a car etc... from vicroads they would of cost the guy $695 i payed $200.

IMO your best bet is if more than one person is intrested in them and let them fight it out on ebay

Personal plates are the biggest waste of money in NSW anyway, you'd be better of spending the money on something else for your car.

How much did they cost you originally? I doubt you'd get a shit load for them but to the right buyer im sure you'd atleast get your money back. It's just finding that person with an rx7 who also likes Australia, maybe if it was JDMRX 7 lol or like others have said, keep them for your garage, put them in storage or put them on your next car.
