Cool, means I have a couple grand worth of seatback ashtrays in storage, and none of them are even R100 ones, but they are the same ;)

I just can't fathom it... is he looking for off-eBay sales, so asks completely mad prices and then yanks the auction before it ends??? Like, seriously - WTF??

Maybe if they were NOS items he'd be saying "You get them in the original box" etc etc and trying to sell it....

He's got corner scuff plates that are also gold-plated, gold-plated sun visors and a gold-plated rear view mirror:

One went for $200 on eBay yesterday, I bid to $150 but that was it.
$450 is stupid. Though if anyone wants to sell one for $150 let me know :P

I would have to dissagree with you, I owned an hk 327 monaro and since I sold it these cars and parts have become very expensive.
I would bet that if you did find any geniune bathurst monaro parts you would be hard presssed finding them cheap.

I was just taking the piss - my main point being that $450 for any such part off an old Mazda that isn't at least NOS and in the box is complete and utter stupidity IMHO.

Doing a quick scan of eBay for HK Monaro ashtrays, I can't seem to find one for over $85...

THAT'S more like it... more realistic prices for old Mazda bits!

Rear view mirror reduced from $300 to $75:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/mazda-r100-/ ... 27ca0f3d32

Scuff plates reduced from $200 to $50:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/mazda-r100-/ ... 27c9fe48a5

Sun visors reducde from $350 to $50:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/mazda-r100-/ ... 27c9fdcecc
